David is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who brings over two decades of frontline mental health experience to his work with individuals, couples, and families. He has worked across a wide range of settings, including more than 20 years in the school system, over 10 years on a Crisis Line, and extensive experience with the Children's Aid Society. Throughout his career, he has supported clients of all ages through some of life's most difficult moments. With over a decade of dedicated crisis intervention work, David has developed a calm, steady presence in moments of acute distress, helping clients move from overwhelm toward stability and clarity. His background also includes years of in-home family work, walking alongside parents and teenagers in the spaces where real change often begins.
David supports children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, self-esteem, assertiveness, grief, chronic conditions, and disabilities. He has a particular passion for working with men, couples, and parents, offering practical tips and strategies grounded in years of hands-on experience with families and adolescents. He understands how easily individuals and couples can become caught in cycles of shame and blame, and how those cycles often lead to isolation, stagnation, and disconnection from the people who matter most.
In his therapeutic work, David aims to cultivate an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, and trust. He offers unwavering support, encouragement, and empathic listening, meeting clients consistently through life's varying phases. Recognizing that every person carries a unique story and relational context, he creates a calm, non-judgmental space where emotions can be explored openly and deeper insight can take root, supporting clients on a transformative journey toward healing, connection, and self-discovery.

Life Outside Sessions
Outside of his clinical work, David finds balance through the simple, grounding things in life. He cherishes time spent with his family, whether that involves sharing a meal, getting outdoors together, or walking the family dog. An active person at heart, he enjoys working out, staying connected to nature, and playing sports. These pursuits keep him energized and present. The rhythms of movement, connection, and play are values he carries into his sessions, reminding clients that wellness is built in the everyday moments as much as in the therapy room
