Find Your Therapist in Mississauga

How the matching works

Nothing clever is happening behind the scenes — it's the same reasoning I use when an enquiry comes in. Language and session format come first, because those are practical: if you want to work in Polish or Hindi, or you can only meet online, that rules people in or out straight away. Then we look at what you're bringing. Some of our therapists work mostly with anxiety and low mood using CBT and DBT; others focus on trauma, couples, or teenagers. The suggestion you get is a starting point, not a verdict.

What if I'm not sure what I need?

That's most people, and it isn't a problem. Pick whichever option sounds closest — you're not committing to a treatment plan by clicking a button. If none of them fit, or you'd rather just talk it through with a person, email us and we'll work it out together. If you're at an earlier stage and still wondering whether therapy is the right move at all, we have a separate two-minute quiz for that: Is Therapy Right for You?

Can I choose someone myself instead?

Of course. Some people would rather read about everyone and decide for themselves, which is completely reasonable — you can see all of our therapists, their training and who they usually work with, on our team page. The quiz exists for people who find an open-ended choice harder than a few questions.

Therapy in English, Polish and Hindi

Talking about difficult things in a second language is genuinely harder — the words you reach for first are usually the ones you learned young. Our team offers sessions in English, Polish and Hindi, and you can ask for that preference in the quiz. If you'd like to read more about why working in your first language matters, we wrote about it here.

What happens after you're matched

You'll see a suggested therapist and can book a free 15-minute consultation with them directly. That call is genuinely a conversation, not a formality — if it doesn't feel right, say so, and we'll suggest someone else or point you somewhere better suited. Changing your mind after one call costs you nothing.

We see clients in person near Square One in Mississauga and online across Ontario, with daytime, evening and weekend appointments. Reduced fees are available in some circumstances — just ask.
