ADHD Therapy in Mississauga — for Adults & Teens

Practical, compassionate support for living with ADHD — whether you were diagnosed years ago, recently, or are just starting to wonder.

ADHD is more than trouble focusing

ADHD shows up in far more than concentration. For many adults and teens, it looks like:

  • Starting things but struggling to finish them — and the guilt that follows

  • Time slipping away ("time blindness"), missed deadlines, running late

  • Emotional intensity — big reactions, frustration, or feeling easily overwhelmed

  • Rejection sensitivity — small criticisms that land hard

  • A long history of "you're so smart, if only you'd apply yourself" — and the self-criticism that builds from it

  • Anxiety, low mood, or burnout that tends to ride along with ADHD

If any of that feels familiar, you're not lazy or broken — your brain is simply wired differently, and there are real, practical ways to work with it.

Who we work with

Adults

Including those diagnosed later in life — navigating work, relationships, organization, parenting, and the self-doubt that comes with years of "trying harder."

Teens & parents

Facing school stress, motivation and homework battles, low self-esteem, and tension at home.

You don't need a formal diagnosis to start, and you don't need a referral.

How we help

Our therapists take a practical, strengths-based approach. Depending on what you need, that can include:

  • Skills and strategies (CBT/DBT-informed) for focus, routines, time management, and emotional regulation

  • Compassion-focused work for the shame and self-criticism that so often accompany ADHD

  • Support for what comes with ADHD — anxiety, low mood, burnout, and relationship strain

  • Collaborative, judgment-free sessions that build on your strengths rather than just managing symptoms

Our approach

Practical and strengths-based — skills for focus, routines and emotional regulation (CBT/DBT-informed), plus compassion-focused work for the shame and self-criticism that often come with ADHD.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you diagnose ADHD?

No. We provide therapy and support for living with ADHD. A formal diagnosis comes from a physician or psychologist — and we're happy to work alongside that process. You don't need a diagnosis to begin therapy with us.

Do you work with adults, or just teens?

Both. We support adults (including those diagnosed later in life) and teens, as well as parents looking for guidance.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. You can book a free 15-minute consultation directly.

Is it covered by insurance?

Sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist are covered by many extended health plans. Coverage varies, so check your plan for "Registered Psychotherapist" services.

In person or online?

Whichever works for you — in person at our Square One location, or securely online across Ontario.

What if I'm not sure ADHD is the issue?

That's completely okay. Many people come in simply feeling stuck, scattered, or overwhelmed. We'll work with what you're experiencing — ADHD label or not.
