When life feels like too much, whether it’s constant worry, pressure at work, low mood or the weight of something painful from the past, Sue offers a calm, steady place to slow down and make sense of it. She helps clients understand what’s driving their stress and anxiety, build practical coping skills, and feel more like themselves again.

Sue knows pressure from the inside. She spent more than ten years leading an emergency response team, handling crisis calls and coordinating police, fire and ambulance responses, and later led and coached teams in corporate settings. She understands high-stakes work, leadership and burnout first-hand, and she knows how to stay grounded when things feel overwhelming.

Her approach is collaborative and practical. She draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients change unhelpful thinking patterns, and on EMDR to help process trauma and painful memories. For clients who find it hard to put feelings into words, she can also offer art-based approaches, drawing on her training as an art therapist.

Sue also has deep experience supporting people through grief and loss, including work in hospice settings, and she brings that compassion and respect for each person’s pace to every session.

She holds a Master’s in Psychology and an Honours BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and she offers therapy in English and Arabic.

Life Outside Sessions

Sue sees creativity as a form of self-care and brings that belief into her sessions. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking in nature and travelling.
